PINE APPLES Highlights!

April 4, 2010

Just a few shots from the PINE APPLES exhibition, you can also see more here.  (Photo’s below by Ashley Oostdyck).

And… for those of you who joined our membership list in the studio, the wait is finely over.  The winner of ‘The Art of Apple Branding’ by Chris Cowles and David Parker is…. (drumroll!) – Gill Pyke!!!  Gill – congratulations!  I’ll be in touch with you momentarily –  and if you missed out on winning this book then you still have the opportunity to buy it here too.

Thanks to everyone who managed to get in to see the exhibition while it was open to the public this last week.  It was great to see familiar faces and to meet some lovely people too.  Thanks too to Sophie Munns, Rachel Marsden and Hannah Suarez for their wonderful write-ups.

We will be closed to the public now till the 14th of April and the next exhibition will be held from the 22nd of May (more on this to come) – in the meantime I’ll be taking full advantage of my new studio space to finally get back into some long-awaited printmaking!!  Just a note too, we have had a lot of interest with regards to the gallery rental – please register your interest by e-mailing the studio (info@myrtlestreetstudio.com) if you wish to be sent more info on this.  We expect to be able to send out the finalised gallery package of information in early May and it will be ‘first in best dressed’!
